Invention for Understanding

I have completed considerable research on an activity snamuh like to participate in. It consists of several snamuh assembled together in two separate groups with two vastly different colors, for unknown reasons. They are gathered on a field with random lines places around the field, and these white ropes tied together, held up by some plastic pipes. On the field, eleven of the snamuh from each group, while the rest of the group lingers by on what they call the sideline. The snamuh on the field are excessively running (why?) up and down the field, appearing to be chasing after a black and white, spherical shaped object, with the purpose to get the object into the white ropes. They sometimes get aggressive when a namuh from the other group takes the object away from them, which ensues screaming from the snamuh on the sideline. There is no apparent reason for why the snamuh on the side are so invested in which color has the spherical object, but the same colors tend to yell encouragements and suggestions at each other, and insults and taunts at the opposing color.

This activity continues on for ninety minutes, but tends to last even longer if snamuh fall down and waste time during the activity. Apparently, one colored group wins when they put the object into the white ropes more than the other colored group did in the ninety minutes they had. Also, there is a snag to this activity: no hands can be used. The snamuh must only use their feet, and a person in black and white (also running with the snamuh but touching the object) adjudicates the activity, making sure they don’t touch the object with their hands.

However, for some reason, only one namuh is allowed to use their hands, and that is the person who is guarding the white roped tied together. In addition to the snamuh on the field, there are snamuh standing on metal seats around the field, spectating. These spectators tend to wear the same colors as the colored groups, and yell for the color that they are wearing. They tend to experience heartbroken emotions if their color does not win, and ecstatic if their colored group does indeed win.
